Chinese government has issued a variety of legislation to supervise and enforce the application of GSHP systems and shallow geothermal energy exploitation since 2004.

1. Recently, related policy of Shanghai government has stated that for qualified heat pump users would get one-time subsidy of 50 RMB/Square Meter.
